Construction at Work
Aone-day work related learning event for Year 8 pupils from all ability ranges who have an enthusiastic approach and interest in Design and Technology. Through this provision pupils will:
Collect information about opportunities available to them to assist with options;
Understand the relevance of a curriculum subject to the world of work;
participate in a practical learning opportunity;
Learn about the main hazards associated with the construction industry.
