Maximise Your Potential for Work

This one-day event is aimed at students who undervalue their own skills and qualities which often prevents them from progressing in school/college and in their life beyond. The aim is to help build their confidence and help them recognise how best to bring out their positive attributes at interview and in their community.

Through this provision pupils will:

Understand the importance to employers of attitudes, qualifications and skills;

Access and use an interview to progress career plans;

Collect and use relevant information about opportunities available to them beyond Key Stage 4;

Analyse what motivates people for work.
