Funding

Business and Education London South (BELS) has been supporting young people aged 14 to 24 into employment, work experience, training or further education since 2001. During this time we have been the lead partner on a number of projects which have received funding from a range of funders, including the London South Learning & Skills Council (LSLSC), the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) the London Development Agency (LDA) and the Office for the Third Sector.

In recent years, these projects have had a particular focus on supporting young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. For example, we are currently leading on a project funded by the LDA working with partners across 12 London Boroughs supporting young people who are NEET into employment. In terms of delivery, we do this through a mix of direct delivery by BELS and through our network of partners/subcontractors.
