London Voluntary Service Council
LVSC brings London voluntary and community sector organisations together to learn and share best practice and to create a co-ordinated voice to influence policy makers. They provide up-to-date information on management and funding, advice and support for voluntary and community groups, a library and information service, practical publications and short courses for those working in the sector.
Works to support the voluntary and community sector to develop and improve its contribution to the lives of local people in South London.
The partnership has representation from a wide range of public, private and community organisations. Partnership includes: South London Councils, Dedicated Task Groups, Business & Workforce Development, Strategic Planning, Go South Go South London Olympics Group, Wandle Forum, South London Sports Partnership.
The National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA)
National voice of local voluntary and community sector infrastructure in England. Their 360 members work with 140,000 local community groups and voluntary organisations which provide services, regenerate neighbourhoods, increase volunteering and tackle discrimination, in partnership with local public bodies.
