BELS Appoints New Fundraising Manager
BELS is pleased to welcome Crescencia Nga Che, who joins BELS in September 2011 as Fundraising Manager. She will be responsible for developing and implementing the Charity’s Fundraising Strategy.
Fluent in English and French and a speaker of basic German, Crescencia holds an MBA in Marketing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and a BSc. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
Formerly a journalist in Africa for two years and a management consultant in England for the past five years, Crescencia has expertise in business and marketing planning, fundraising strategy development and implementation, stakeholder consultation, project management and budgeting and business report writing. She has secured medium to high value contracts, grants, donations and gifts in kind from European sources, Central and Local Government Departments and Agencies, National Lottery sources, grant-making trusts and foundations, private companies and the general public.
Crescencia has worked across the education, employment and welfare-to-work, healthcare, construction and social housing sectors. She is actively involved as a volunteer business mentor in charities supporting education, enterprise and skills development.
