GCSE Results Slightly Improve

This year the English GCSE results have shown an improvement, with 46.5% of students achieving five or more good GCSEs including Maths and English, an increase of 0.7% points on last year’s results.

 

Important 2007 statistics:

 

·         46.5% pupils with 5 good GCSEs including Maths and English;

·         51% of girls reached this benchmark;

·         42.1% of boys reached this benchmark;

·         97.4% of Selective schools reached this benchmark;

·         60.2% of Independent schools reached this benchmark;

·         64.9% reached this benchmark in Sutton;

·         67% of girls in Kingston reached this level;

·         37% of pupils in 1997 reached this benchmark.
