Andrea Kupferman-Hall joined BELS in January 2006 and was most recently the Academic Registrar at The Surrey Institute of Art and Design University College before taking a career break. Prior to this, she was an Academic Registrar at the Council for National Academic Awards (CNAA), an Assistant Director for the Higher Education Quality Council (HEQC) and a Senior Policy Advisor for Lord Dearing’s Committee of Inquiry into Higher Education. Before coming to the UK, she worked as a programme auditor for both the New York State Legislature and the New York State Department for Education focusing on higher education policy.
