Janice Pigott
As manager of the South London Learning Partnership since 2001, I have overseen its growth of from a group of interested providers to a wide partnership involving over 400 organisations and over 2000 individuals. I have a particular interest in strategic planning and bringing together all those involved in learning to share their experiences and expertise. I am also a consultant for LSDA for three programmes involving 14-19 education. Prior to this post I worked at Bromley Education Business Partnership (part of Bromley LEA) for 6 years. I started my full time working life manufacturing radioactive chemicals and later moved into research ,with my work published in scientific journals. Children brought a complete change of direction – many years of voluntary work followed with input into education through my involvement with running a playgroup and being an active school governor. I have three children and interests include gardening, playing the guitar (badly) and walking.
