Michael Johns

I am 55 years old, married and have 2 grown up children. I have lived in the Croydon area for most of my life and am an Independent Financial Adviser.

For a significant proportion of my working life I have held senior management and board positions within the Financial Services industry. At the same time I have always retained my personal client contact. The management and client contact roles have enabled me to develop skills in many areas, which I believe will be of assistance to BELS in the future. These skills include sales management, chairing and managing meetings, staff development, financial management, trusteeship, training and presentation skills. My various roles have always very much been focused on income generation and client relationships and also have had to encompass compliance and regulatory management.
